Co-production by Contemporaneous and West 4th New Music.

Written for West 4th New Music's Second Annual End of Summer Festival. Premiered on September 22nd, 2012, in Exapno New Music Community, Brooklyn, NY.

Written for Ensemble Signal and the June in Buffalo Festival. Premiered on June 5th, 2012, at the University at Buffalo, NY.

Written for West 4th's End of Summer Concert. Premiered on September 25th, 2011, at Exapno New Music Community in Brooklyn, NY, USA.

Compost Remixed (2011)
For brass quintet (2 trumpets, horn, trombone, tuba), 6'.
Written for the UNL Chamber Music Institute, featuring the Chiara String Quartet. Remix of the very first piece Compost (1998) in a contemporary idiom. Premiered on June 10th, 2011, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.

JACKASS (2011)

Written for the JACK Quartet. Premiered on Sunday May 1st, 2011, at 11.30am at the Frederick Loewe Theatre, 25 W 4St, New York, USA.

Premiered on the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at Mass MoCA, North Adams, MA, USA.
Inspired by the financial crisis featuring Citigroup's 95% fall in share price, its former chairman's famous quote, Financial Times headlines and a concise history of the American currency.

De Bètacanon (2008)
The Scientific Canon
For vocal sextet (SATB + 2T) and piano four-hands, 10'.
Commissioned by the Dutch national newspaper de Volkskrant, which published De bètacanon, a list of scientific topics that everyone should know. Since a 'canon' has to be sung, the fifty topics are sung in a musical canon in four voices.

Part of the YouOpera. Commissioned by Jamie Jordan and David Friend. Premiered on December 8th, 2012, Barnes Hall Auditorium, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.

Part of the YouOpera. Written for the Music11 Festival, featuring eight blackbird. Premiered on June 30th, 2011, at the Hindemith Music Center, Blonay, Switzerland.

Texts from Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations. Premiered on January 29th and 30th in The Hague and Rotterdam, NL.
