Inspired by the financial crisis featuring Citigroup's 95% fall in share price, its former chairman's famous quote, Financial Times headlines and a concise history of the American currency.

The Scientific Canon
For vocal sextet (SATB + 2T) and piano four-hands, 10'.
Commissioned by the Dutch national newspaper de Volkskrant, which published De bètacanon, a list of scientific topics that everyone should know. Since a 'canon' has to be sung, the fifty topics are sung in a musical canon in four voices.
